Sandakphu is the highest peak of West Bengal and Phalut is the second highest peak of West Bengal. Sandakphu Phalut trek route is the most popular trek route of West Bengal. In this video we started our journey from Sandakphu to Phalut. Sandakphu to Phalut is just 21 kilometer but it takes about 3 hours to reach Phalut by car. The road condition is very bad. We saw many brunt or thunder struck Silver Fir trees beside the road. We stopped at Sabargram which is 14 kilometer from Sandakphu. We stayed at GTA trekker's hut at Phalut. I have discussed about how to book GTA trekkers's hut at Phalut. There is no other accomodation except GTA trekker's hut at Phalut. After reaching Phalut, we ordered our luch and visited Phalut top or Phalut view point. Four of the world's top five highest peaks namely Mount Everest, Makalu, Losthse and Mt Kanchenjungha are seen from Phalut top. Snowfall started at Phalut in the afternoon. We took dinner and went to bed early. Next morning we woke up at 4 a.m. and went to Phalut top again to watch sun rise. We were not lucky enough to see the Sleeping buddha. After breakfast we returned from Phalut. At Sabargram we enjoyed snow. We reached NJP in the evening. At the end of the video, I have given our Sandakphu Phalut tour cost.
